It was that wonderful time of year where minnows made of glass gathered in large quantities everywhere you wanted to be. Can’t quite remember why I went south, probably something fishing related, but there was some other reason beyond glass minnows and sodium. Pub subs? Reason enough to drive 10+ hours, but no. Whatever the reason, it obviously faded into obscurity, and for good reason. For a handful of days I was able to tangle with snook and tarpon and their glass minnow addled minds. Nothing spectacular, it was just a taste, but enough to hold me over.
